Chris joined Simplicity because he has a passion to help entrepreneurs and small businesses. Chris is able to share with small businesses lessons from his time spent advising high technology companies in Silicon Valley. He is especially talented at helping small businesses solve their disputes due to his work with a Federal judge and a firm that helped companies calculate damages in lawsuits.

Prior to joining Simplicity, Chris worked for Fenwick & West, a large law firm in Silicon Valley where he represented high technology clients – from individuals and startup businesses to large publicly traded corporations. Chris graduated cum laude from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and received his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Michigan, where he graduated with distinction. During law school, Chris worked as an intern for a federal district court judge in San Francisco.

Chris has extensive experience evaluating damages in both litigation and informal disputes. Prior to attending law school, he worked for a consulting firm that specialized in calculating damages in lawsuits.

When not practicing law, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and their two cats, photography, camping, and skiing in the Rocky Mountains.

Chris is admitted to practice law in California and is currently in the process of applying for admission in the state of Colorado.
